Coming soon: the Old Sergeant, CAP's fictional storyteller, an AI character based on the legend of a retired officer from Southern California. He'll share the CAP origin story, the history of citizen service, and answer common volunteer and chapter questions. He is an AI assistant, not a real person or officer, and he can't help in an emergency. Emergencies: call 911. A real CAP coordinator reviews every volunteer and chapter request.
Get training dates, preparedness tips and chapter news. CAP is an independent volunteer organization, not a law-enforcement agency. Emergencies: call 911.
Chapter groups on Facebook and X Communities will be listed here once each chapter launches.
